Students have to color in the boxes with the real words to help the animal get home. This is differentiated with two levels. One page has CVC words and the other has a mix of CVC words, CCVC, and words with digraphs and bonus letters.
Used KG fonts (Primary Penmanship 2 and Bless You)
Great for CVC, long vowel, R controlled - any type of words!
Just write real and nonsense words in the boxes, copy, and have students use crayons or dab markers to complete.

Includes: Short O make a word with two levels (each sheet has 2 copies, cut down the center). The students can fill in the missing letters with letter stamps or just pencil. For short O charades, teachers prints and cuts cards. Tell the children we will be playing charades and all the things the children will be acting out have the short O sound in them. The children can use their game boards to fill out as the game progresses. My kids loved this game!
Directions: Students choose a crayon color. They take turns flipping a coin. For heads they have to color in /ar/ words. For tails they color in /air/ words.
Put letters, blends or diagraphs in each of the circles. The students can create words by using one letter from each circle. I have a 4 circles game as well.
