Hi, I’m Emily—welcome to Em&Em’s Practical Resources!
I’ve spent my career in early childhood education, first in a family childcare program and now co-directing a small center with my mom. I know how much energy goes into keeping classrooms organized, meeting licensing requirements, and training staff, all while making sure children are receiving the care and attention they deserve.
That’s why I created this shop: to share simple, practical tools that help other providers save time and stress.

Teaching style
I believe children learn best through play, exploration, and strong relationships with their caregivers. My resources are designed to support caregivers in creating organized, consistent environments where children can thrive without unnecessary stress.

I hold a BA in English and have pursued ongoing professional development in early childhood education, classroom management, and family engagement.

Outside of my work in childcare, I enjoy reading (historical fiction and multigenerational stories are my favorites) and tending a native plant garden.
