Experience
I am currently teaching 1st grade in Hamlet, North Carolina. This is my second year. I am passionate about reading, mathematics, and character education.
Teaching style
In my personal experience, I have seen the importance of teaching to the whole child. It is a passion of mine to actively engage each student of mine by getting to know their likes and dislikes. This creates a "ripple effect" of how I tailor my lessons and activities to make learning more enjoyable.
My own education history
I graduated from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia with a dual major in Special and Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology.
