This is a Mystery Card Game that makes doing word problems fun! It's an activity students will enjoy doing, and they are in groups. The idea is simple, and instructions, template, and example is given in the attached document. This is an activity that will take little time to prepare, and you can change things to become any word problem you choose.

This can be a group or individual activity for students. They have to match tables, functions, and graphs. I've included 8 of each that either the teacher or student cuts out, then matches. A directions page is also included, it's perfect as a review activity.

This is a great review game to use after the unit over exponents. All that's required is a die and pencil. I usually have students write down the problems they do as well (accountability) to turn in to me at the end of class. This is a one page handout that has all rules typed out.

This is a great way to review material before a quiz, test, or to make sure the understood a recently learned concept. It's very easy to prepare and uses supplies that can be found in the supply cabinet. This is an activity that you can tailor to both struggling and gifted students without anyone being the wiser! The time for this activity can be 10 minutes up to 45 minutes (depending on how long you want it to take). NOTE: the number of pages is mainly due to questions that are attached.

This is a great activity to use in the classroom and very easy to pull off. I include a PowerPoint Presentation that gives Teacher directions, has a slide to show students, and a slide with an example. I've used this activity a lot with students and they love it!

I traced Garfield the cat and made it into a connect the dot activity. Students must use math to figure out the problems in order to connect the dots in the correct order. I've used this activity numerous times, and I included a template where you can insert your own math problems.

This is a great project to assign students. I've included a directions page and the handout to give to students that give an example of how to complete the project.
