This assignment uses the slider feature in Desmos to guide students to understand how parameters impact the position and shape of a parabola on a graph.
Standard, vertex and factored forms are used.
The activity could be treated as a guided inquiry or as a formative assessment. Developed for the MFM2P course in Ontario but appropriate for any math course with quadratics.
