Students give advice to Jigsaw Jones as they read Chapters 11 and 12 of the case of the missing hamster.

Vocab for Chapters 1-4. Students rate if the know the word, have heard the word, or don't know the word. As they read, they record the sentence and page number where they found the word. In the last column, the define the word.

The students rate the words prior to reading them in the novel. When they find the word in the story, the students will write the sentence the word in found in, the page number, and the definition of the word.

Students will draw domino dots or write numbers to decompose the number in the truck.
