Teaching style

I've been trained in Ortin Gillingham based reading program with a multi-sensory approach. Lots of visuals and hands on. Teach higher level thinking... connecting across subjects and grades, despite learning difficulties or disabilities.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Pitchapalooza winner with my pitch for my middle grade novel, Devin and His Shape-Shifting Sister (I'm a writer... did I mention that?) Graduated summa cum laude from Texas State, with three semesters on Dean's list.

My own education history

Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas State University. Neuhaus Education Center and Rawson Saunders Institute.
