About the store

Experience

I have been teaching either first or second grade since 2011. I have been in first grade for the last eight years and have found the perfect spot for myself! I have my ELL and gifted endorsements and am currently teaching in a Cambridge primary classroom. I love creating things to use in my classroom or to share with others.

Teaching style

I use a lot of cooperative learning structures and like to pull in character education whenever I can. I am always looking for new ways to incorporate technology into the classroom.

Additional biographical information

I live in sunny Florida with my cat Maggie, who is content to put up with my time spent creating on the computer as long as she can nap under my desk lamp and occasionally control the touch-screen monitor with her tail! I am the author of the Elementary Explorers series of nonfiction books for children in grades 1-3. www.elementaryexplorers.com
