Sex Education Safe Relationships
The first time I taught Sex Ed I was terrified of making a mistake, managing multiple students' cultural views on sex, and how the students will respond. Through the last 6 years I have been perfecting my unit by continually using student data to improve the unit each year. The unit includes an interactive graph on birth control effectiveness, kahoot quiz, treasure hunt, videos, images, gifs. Teaching style
I love challenging my students to think critically and outside of the box. I enjoy mixing it up and having a variety of activities to better engage the students.
My own education history
My bachelors is in English with a minor in Education. I got my secondary teaching credential (English) with a supplementary in health, and then my masters in Education with a focus in digital learning.
