Engaging Elementaries

Students can work on their area and perimeter skills using this hands-on, creativity promoting project! Students have the opportunity to plan, design, and create their own park! After, students will be challenged with the task of finding the area and perimeter of different features in their parks. There is an extension activity of problems for those fast finishers, as well as a rubric.
