Twenty color-coded characteristics and examples of solids, liquids, gases, and plasmas are provided for students to sort. The focus of this activity is molecular arrangement and movement.

Students need to learn that scientific understanding is not fixed and changes as new information is acquired. This hyperdoc will allow your students to explore the atomic model as it has changed from Democritus through the Electron Cloud Model. You can use this as an exploratory activity or as a comprehension check after you have taught your lesson.
