As you start back to school, do you want to learn more about your students and how they best learn? This 10 question color by number is a simple, low-stakes way to gain that information. There are no right or wrong answers, so completed coloring pages will vary.

Twenty color-coded characteristics and examples of solids, liquids, gases, and plasmas are provided for students to sort. The focus of this activity is molecular arrangement and movement.

With this notes packet, students will be able to learn about how to read the periodic table to help determine the number of subatomic particles. After delivering the fill in the blank notes, students can practice collectively or independently. An answer key is provided.
