This is a set of 12 multiplication task cards. Each card possesses a 2x2 digit multiplication problem with a qr code for students to check their answers. The file includes a student recording sheet with box/area models for students to fill in as they work. An answer key is also included.

Experience
I have taught for 15 years, 5th grade, 4th grade, and EIP (Early Intervention Program) in Georgia. Currently, I am teaching 5th grade ELA and social studies.
Teaching style
I am constantly looking for ways to engage and motivate students beyond basic memorization exercises and the all too often regurgitation of facts. I strive to promote creative and critical thinking skills while providing students with ample opportunities to develop autonomy and independence in their learning endeavors.
