Engaging Interventions

These journal prompts go along with the 2016 Open Court Reading Red and Blue bands. Each prompt has a section to write and a section to draw a corresponding picture. Each prompt provides an age appropriate sentence starter to make your writing block meaningful with a consistent writing routine. Bind to use as a journal, put in a binder, or pass out individually each week. One prompt for each lesson of each unit for a total of 35 prompts.
