Heart parts are the tricky parts of words that may have word patterns that students have not been taught yet or include irregular spellings. Boost your students' reading successes by implementing these as flashcards or word wall words to help them better understand their high frequency words.

These flashcards are already marked with hearts for irregular parts and phonics rules that they have not learned yet. These were made to go along with the Kinder Open Court Reading Word list.
