About the store
I have been a special education teacher since 2013 and have taught in grades 2-5 in both inclusion and pull-out replacement settings. I tutor students in grades K-12 in all subject areas. I have also served as an interventionist for students who are struggling in their general education classrooms. I love teaching and have a passion for creating hands-on, engaging learning materials for students of different ability and grade level needs.

Experience
I have been a special education teacher since 2013 and have taught in grades 2-5 in both inclusion and pull-out replacement settings. I tutor students in grades K-12 in all subject areas. I love teaching and have a passion for creating hands-on, engaging learning materials for students of different ability and grade level needs.
Teaching style
I believe students play an important role in their own education and feel more motivated to participate and learn when engaged in each lesson and activity. I strive to make all lessons and activities inquiry based, hands-on and multi sensory so that students can internalize and then continue to use the skills taught in other contexts.

Additional biographical information
I spend most of my spare time with my daughter, husband and golden retriever, Maui. When I am not with family, I enjoy reading and learning new strategies to help my students.
