We have plenty incentives for positive behavior, but for those of you who struggle to get students to complete classwork or homework to the best of their ability, I have found "class banking" to be SUPER effective! Students earn for all the work they do and any extras (snacks, parties or prizes) have to be purchased! It works like balancing check book (shout out for real life skills), is easy to monitor and is incredibly motivating.
