Experience

I’ve spent over a decade teaching middle school science in both U.S. and international schools. My roles have included Science Educator, Grade Team Leader, and Dean, along with mentoring student-centered STEM clubs like Future Cities, SeaPerch, and Girls in STEM. My curriculum experience spans IB MYP, NGSS, standards-based grading, and concept-based instruction — all of which inform the resources I create today.

Teaching style

I’m a Type B teacher at heart — calm, flexible, and focused on meaningful relationships. My teaching style blends inquiry-based learning with real-world relevance and hands-on discovery. I create resources that are easy to use, adaptable, and fun, especially for teachers who want more calm and clarity in their classrooms.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I’m a National Board Certified Teacher in Science for Early Adolescence. My work was highlighted by Bechtel Corporation for “Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day,” and I spoke at NSTA’s STEM20 on supporting girls in STEM. These moments reflect my deep commitment to empowering students — especially girls — to see themselves as scientists and leaders.
