Density of Pennies (Pre and Post 1982) Data Spreadsheet
This is an Excel spreadsheet I created for students to display their data. We determined the density of pennies before 1982 (pure Copper) and after 1982 (some Zinc was added) and place the data on the SmartBoard. Students can see how their data affects the slope of the trendline (best-fit line) as they type in their data points. It took a while to figure out Excel so I thought I'd share it here. I locked the cells that don't need to be written on. The password is "password".

Experience
I have been teaching science since 1996. I've had the privilege of having thousands of students over the years ranging from 6th to 12th grade. Along with a Masters in Digital Media Production, I can produce the resources you need to succeed in a wide variety of topics.
Teaching style
I love teaching! I get the chance to make the difficult ideas of the universe understandable to the young mind. I am a very visual and hands on learner so that tends to shape the way I teach. I like to sprinkle video and interactive web sites in with discussion and engaging activities to reach as many students as possible. My worksheets are intended to be user friendly and self explanatory.
Awards & shining teacher moments
I am a nationally awarded video producer. I helped make our school a Missouri School of Character in 2007 and a National School of Character in 2008. I have been nominated teacher of the year several times over my career.
My own education history
I graduated with a BSEd in Science Education from the University of Missouri Columbia (Mizzou) in 1996 and completed a Masters in Digital Media Production from Lindenwood University in 2006.
Additional biographical information
Creator of EpiphanyScience.com, my long term goal is to produce fun video content to coordinate with my paper and digital resources.
