Percent of Change Song
A very simple song, but my students LOVE it to help them memorize how to calculate percent of change. We have fun singing it in different rounds, over and over again. My students are pros at calculating percent of change, and it's mostly because of this song. Pretty cheesy but it works!

Teaching style
I believe it's essential for students to recognize the connections between mathematical concepts. To support this, I incorporate collaborative learning and creative, hands-on approaches that help students engage with new material in meaningful ways.

My own education history
I earned dual Bachelor's degrees in Mathematics and Secondary Education from Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas, in 2015. In 2019, I completed a Master’s degree in Mathematics from Pittsburg State University.
