About the store

Experience

I have been teaching middle school in South Georgia for ten years. I have taught Language Arts as well as Career Exploration. I have coached middle school show choir, high school gymnastics, and high school sideline and competition cheerleading. I also am a part of my schools MTSS team, and leadership team.

Teaching style

My teaching strategy for Careers is very hands on. I want my students to see what it is like to work in the career we are researching.

My own education history

I received my Associates degree from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, and received my Bachelors in Middle Grades Language Arts two years later from Valdosta State University. I obtained my Masters in Middle Grades Language Arts from Georgia Southwestern. I also have my Specialist in Middle Grades Education.

Additional biographical information

My husband and I love the beach and to travel. I have a golden doodle named Bailey. We welcomed our daughter, Tinsley, into the world in May of 2025.
