AP BC Calculus "Midterm"

A midterm I gave years back involving multiple integration problems and other concepts. This has some AP AB Calculus content but more designed for AP BC Calculus as it has separation of variables for differential equations. Great to give for a returning assessment from a winter break!

A 5-question quiz on multiple integration techniques. This is suited for AP BC Calculus. Solutions are given on the page.

This is the solutions page to the AP BC Calculus Spring Review Assessment 4. These pages are part of a series of spring reviews suited to prep students on the FRQ associated. The spring reviews are meant to exhaust a problem, knowing fully well that FRQ on the AP BC Calculus exam has no more than 4 parts.

It is countdown time for AP BC Calculus to prep for the AP Exam in May! This is an assessment that contains Euler's method, separation of variables, a little Taylor Series, volume, area between curves and Fundamental Theorem of Calculus. The idea with all the assessments that are associated with this set is to combine a little bit of several units and to "exhaust" what could be asked on the main AP exam. Note that AP exams generally have 4 part maximum per FRQ so these problems extend on that

AP BC Calculus (Limits) Quiz

This is the first assessment I have given once introductions are made. Students are expected to know how to calculate limits and determine continuity upon completion of summer assignments. This assessment is followed by a derivatives assessment that covers all derivative rules up through implicit, though implicit is taught with further emphasis afterward into related rates work. This assessment is entirely algebraic, and no concept of derivative calculation use is necessary for it. Solutio

It is countdown time for AP BC Calculus to prep for the AP Exam in May! This is an assessment that contains strictly Taylor and Maclaurin series work. The idea with all the assessments that are associated with this set is to combine a little bit of several units and to "exhaust" what could be asked on the main AP exam. Note that AP exams generally have 4 part maximum per FRQ so these problems extend on that format to prepare students even better. Teachers using this can break up the problems

What a way to combine a bunch of integration! This quiz involves a little bit of everything in terms of integrals. All that is assessed is mentioned in the title, and I gave this several times before as a bit of a review as well as a follow-up quiz for recalling several concepts in one. I labeled it as Quiz/Problem Set as you can select which is convenient for you for use in your class. You can even assign as a take-home assessment or for group work. Solutions to both problems are in detail

A quiz I built for use after my assessments of limits and derivatives after the first week. This gets students started seeing FRQ style problems and to show their work. This quiz works well when paired with a related rates assessment or worksheet. Scroll down the page for solutions!

Trigonometry Summer Assignment II (Radian, Special Right Triangles)

This problem set concerns radian conversion practice and special right triangles for use in calculating exact values. Note: This set is part of a summer course that had videos associated with such, leading to this practice. This was given as a daily assignment and can be used by you for either a longer assessment, in-class practice or a longer duration problem set.

AP BC Calculus Week 1 Problem Set

A problem set for week 1 of AP BC Calculus. This set includes implicit differentiation, inverse function derivatives and related rates. This can serve well as a main problem set, supplemental problem set or for an assessment review! Note that this is written based on student's previous knowledge (through summer work or previous course). My students in this course are required to know limits and derivative rules upon entering

An intro to using sine and cosine ratios with some computation of Pythagorean Theorem mixed in. Note: This is based off of pre-made videos for a summer course and this problem set served as a daily assignment in a two-week course. This can be given as a longer assessment or as is in problem set fashion.
