This differentiated activity requires students unscramble a sentence and write a sentence. The first page has punctuation and capitalization clues. The second page removes those clues. The third page removes those clues and has an extra adjective in the sentence.
Students are required to read the pattern unit and use it to extend several types of patterns by labeling and coloring. Patterns featured include ABB, ABA, ABCB and AB. American symbols include the bald eagle, the liberty bell, fireworks, the American flag, stars, and Uncle Sam hats.
Students will count and color a set of shamrocks, graph what they've colored, and answer questions that require adding and determining which set has the most and the least in it. Four different sets of graphing pages are included so that this activity can be used independently in a whole group without the worry of students copying each other. Document was made in powerpoint but prints like a work sheet. Can also be used as a graphing assessment.
