This is a simple worksheet that could be used with students just learning fractions or students who work better with visuals. Each fraction is paired with a picture representing the fraction. There are boxes with the fraction line already there for the students to write in. The students must identify each fraction and then add the fractions together to find the answer.
This is a worksheet that introduces adding fractions with like denominators. Visuals of each addend are provided. Students are to write the corresponding fraction for each picture and then add the numerators or count the shaded boxes to find the sum. I use this in a high school special education setting.
