About the store

Experience

I am a high school science teacher with five years of classroom experience, including three years teaching Biology and two years teaching Chemistry. Throughout my career, I have focused on delivering standards-aligned, data-informed instruction that promotes critical thinking and measurable academic growth.

Teaching style

My teaching style is rooted in collaboration, inquiry, and structured academic discourse. I prioritize group-based learning and student-led discussions to create classrooms where students actively construct understanding rather than passively receive information. Through guided inquiry, students are challenged to analyze, question, and defend their thinking. I intentionally design instruction using Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles, with a strong focus on scaffolding complex concepts, chunking content into manageable segments, emphasizing academic vocabulary, and providing guided question supports.

My own education history

I entered the classroom through Teach For America and have since built my career in charter education, where academic rigor and measurable outcomes are central to my practice. With a Master’s in Education, I specialize in designing structured, standards-aligned curriculum that promotes critical thinking and mastery. Every resource I create is classroom-tested and built to support teachers in delivering high-impact instruction with clarity and confidence.
