Escape2Learning

A short quiz to assess students' knowledge of transparent, translucent, and opaque objects, prisms bending light, the scientific method, and absorbing and reflecting light. This quiz covers the same information that students learn in the lessons and labs on light that can be found on the Escape to Learning home page.

This document includes a lesson plan and experiment hand out designed to take up 30 to 45 minutes. Students will test various liquids to see if the density of a liquid affects magnetic pull. This is a great introductory lesson for students starting to learn about the scientific method and predictions vs. observations.
