The children’s picture book, The Big Orange Splot, can excellently reinforce visualization, a comprehension strategy. Teaching visualization involves encouraging students to create a visual picture of the book in their head. By focusing on visualization, students will better understand, remember, and enjoy texts. Visualization helps students better understand a story. This book is fantastic for visualization because of the significance of the descriptive words to the story. Mr. Plumbean’s house
