Essential Speech

These resources pages were created for speech language pathologists working in private therapy or a school setting. The resource pages include characteristics, assessment tools, and treatment/therapy options for the following topics: Apraxia of Speech, Articulation, Auditory Processing Disorder, Fluency, Hearing Impairment, Language, Phonological Disorder. There is also an Oral Motor Exam included.

This Oral Motor Exam includes the face/lips, teeth, jaw, tongue, hard palate, soft palate, and pharynx. It also includes the cranial nerves for each area and diadochokineses.

These resource sheets were designed for pediatric speech language pathologists. They cover characteristics, assessment tools, and treatment/therapy options for the following topics: apraxia of speech, articulation, auditory processing disorder, fluency, hearing impairment, language, phonological disorder. Also included are developmental skills ranging from birth to six years old and an oral motor examination.
