Our Class is a Family! This bulletin board idea and activity are based off of the book, "Our Class is a Family" by Shannon Olsen. In this area, I have each family bring in a picture of their family to display on the bulletin board using string and clothespins. Simply print, laminate, and cut the bulletin board letters to display in this area! After reading the story, students can work on one of the two activities pages. Partner Cards BACK TO SCHOOL! Make pairing up with a partner fun and engaging by passing out partner cards to every student and having the students find their partner by searching for their matching card! Tic-Tac-Toe with a TWIST! My class LOVES this sight word game and it's great practice for practicing sight words! Each player chooses a sight word that they use as their marker (instead of X's and O's). They take turns playing until someone gets three-in-a-row!
