My colleagues often joke that I'm the teacher who "fixes things before they break" and reinvents the wheel just because I can't help myself! I love looking at a lesson or activity and asking, "How can this be even better?"
My classroom is built on engaging experiences, hands-on learning, creativity, and plenty of opportunities for students to actively participate. Whether we're playing a game, using technology, collaborating with classmates, or celebrating small successes, I believe children learn best when they're excited to be part of the experience.
One of my favorite quotes is, "Students don't remember lessons. They remember experiences." That idea has shaped my teaching throughout my career and continues to inspire the kind of classroom I strive to create every day.
