Experience

With a career rooted in the intersection of behavioral science and education, I currently serve as a Certified Behavior Technician (RBT) at a dedicated learning academy. My daily work involves implementing individualized behavior intervention plans and creating pedagogical resources that bridge the gap between therapy and the classroom. Additionally, I bring over a decade of experience in professional journalism and digital content creation, which allows me to design educational materials that are not only clinically sound but also clear, engaging, and highly professional.

Teaching style

My approach is defined by structure, clarity, and positive reinforcement. I advocate for the "Visual-First" philosophy, recognizing that for many autistic and neurodivergent children, predictable environments are the key to unlocking potential. My resources utilize low-sensory design patterns—muted colors and clear typography—to reduce cognitive load and help students focus on the task at hand. I believe in breaking down complex skills into achievable steps, ensuring that both the teacher and the learner feel supported throughout the process.

Awards & shining teacher moments

My most rewarding moments occur every day in the academy: seeing a non-verbal student use a visual icon to communicate a need for the first time, or watching a family regain confidence through the use of a structured home routine I helped design. Professionally, I am proud to have successfully launched my own educational company in 2026, dedicated to scaling these therapeutic supports to reach more families and professionals nationwide.

My own education history

My academic background provides a unique multidisciplinary foundation for creating educational content. I hold a Master’s degree in Communication Sciences, which informs the linguistic and social-communication aspects of my resources. I also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, a field that taught me the importance of precision, storytelling, and clear information design. This combination of communication expertise and behavioral certification allows me to create resources that are as effective as they are easy to understand.

Additional biographical information

Beyond my professional life, I am a husband and a father of two sons. My perspective as a parent deeply influences my work, as one of my children is on the autism spectrum. This personal experience gives me a unique, firsthand understanding of the daily challenges families face and reinforces my commitment to creating practical, "ready-to-use" solutions that truly make a difference. When I am not at the academy or designing new resources, I am often exploring the possibilities of 3D printing to create functional assistive devices and tactile educational tools for my students.
