If students are able to "dissect" or recognize the greek or latin prefix or suffix, then they will be able to get an idea of what the science term is all about. I have a wonderful wife and a one year old boy. My wife and I love to teach and can't imagine doing anything else. I stay active by running marathons, playing tennis (leagues and tournaments), and staying in touch with friends and family.
