About the store

Experience

I’m a certified middle school Career & Technical Education teacher with over a decade of experience. I’ve taught in the U.S., Japan, and online, working with diverse learners across middle grades. My specialties include Personal Finance, Career Exploration, Life Skills, and ESL.

Teaching style

My teaching style focuses on real-world relevance, hands-on learning, and practical life skills. I design student-centered lessons that are easy to implement, flexible for all learners, and rooted in real-life application.

Awards & shining teacher moments

My proudest teaching moments come from seeing students truly connect with what they’re learning—whether it's my Nutrition and Wellness students confidently completing independent cooking labs and proudly sharing their homemade treats with friends and family, or my 6th graders having that “aha” moment when they understand how their interests and values relate to future careers. In my financial literacy classes, I’ve loved watching students grasp real-world money lessons—from budgeting and investing to how quickly a paycheck can disappear with adult responsibilities. Even online, my ESL adult learners continue to inspire me as they grow more confident, holding full conversations in English without stress or fear. Every moment of progress, big or small, reminds me why I love teaching.
