About the store
I have over a decade of experience teaching middle school mathematics & science in a diverse and academically challenging environment. Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with students across a wide range of ability levels, helping them build confidence and mastery in foundational math concepts. My classroom experience includes teaching core middle school math standards, developing standards-aligned instructional materials, and creating structured practice resources that support student success. Many of the resources in this store were originally designed and tested in my own classroom to help students better understand challenging math topics and prepare for assessments. Through years of teaching, I have learned that students succeed best when concepts are presented clearly, practiced consistently, and reinforced through meaningful problem solving.

About the store

Experience

Teaching style

My teaching philosophy centers around clarity, structure, and student confidence. I believe students learn mathematics best when instruction is broken into clear steps and supported with structured practice. My lessons emphasize conceptual understanding while also providing opportunities for students to develop procedural fluency through guided practice and real-world applications. In my classroom, I focus on helping students build confidence by: • explaining concepts in clear and simple language • modeling problem-solving strategies step-by-step • providing structured practice opportunities • encouraging persistence and growth in mathematical thinking The resources I create aim to reflect this approach by offering materials that are both accessible and academically rigorous.

Awards & shining teacher moments

One of the most meaningful aspects of my teaching career has been witnessing students grow academically and personally over the course of the school year. Many of the students I work with come from non-academic backgrounds or begin the year feeling uncertain about their ability to succeed in mathematics. Throughout the years, I have had numerous experiences where students who initially struggled with foundational skills gradually developed the confidence, discipline, and problem-solving strategies needed to make meaningful academic gains. By the end of the year, many of these students are able to approach mathematical challenges with greater independence and a stronger belief in their own abilities. Seeing students develop these skills and begin to view themselves as capable learners is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching. These moments serve as powerful reminders that with clear instruction, consistent practice, and encouragement, students from all backgrounds can grow and succeed in mathematics.

My own education history

My academic background is rooted in both mathematics instruction and science education. I hold a Master’s degree in Science Education as well as a Doctorate in Education, which have provided me with a strong foundation in curriculum design, instructional strategies, and student learning. Through my graduate studies and years of classroom experience, I have developed a deep understanding of how students learn mathematical concepts and how structured instruction can support their academic growth. My work in education has focused on helping students build foundational skills, develop confidence in problem solving, and improve their overall academic performance. These experiences have shaped the way I design my instructional materials. The resources in EverLearn Math are created with a focus on clarity, alignment to academic standards, and practical classroom use so that both teachers and students can benefit from effective and meaningful math practice.

Additional biographical information

EverLearn Math was created out of my desire to provide clear, structured math resources that truly support student learning. Over the years, I have worked with many students who began the school year feeling uncertain about their ability to succeed in mathematics. Through consistent practice, clear explanations, and structured problem-solving opportunities, I have seen students grow in both confidence and academic ability. Many of the resources in this store were originally developed for my own classroom to help simplify challenging concepts and provide meaningful practice aligned with academic standards. My goal in creating EverLearn Math is to support teachers, tutors, and students by offering practical resources that save instructional time while helping students build lasting mathematical understanding.
