About the store
Welcome! I’ve spent the past 12 years teaching high school students (grades 9–14) in a special education self contained classroom, focusing on academics and life skills. Over the years, I realized how hard it can be to find age-appropriate materials that truly meet students where they are academically. That’s what inspired me to create Everyday Adapted — a collection of resources designed to make learning meaningful, accessible, and relevant for older students. My goal is to help teachers save time while giving every student the chance to experience success in both academics and daily life.

Teaching style

I believe students learn best when lessons connect to their real lives. My teaching style focuses on making activities meaningful and relevant—helping students see how what they learn in the classroom applies to the world around them.

My own education history

I received my Master's degree from Georgetown College in Teacher Leadership with a certification in teaching students with moderate to severe disabilities (K-12). I graduated with a BS from Murray State University with certifications to teach students with learning and behavioral disorders (K-12), and elementary education (K-5).
