Additional biographical information

I’m a 7th grade math teacher from a small rural town in Georgia, and I’ve been in education for over a decade. I’m a wife, a mom to three amazing kids, and a proud small-town girl who believes that good teaching happens when relationships, relevance, and high expectations come together. In 2024, I was honored to be named Teacher of the Year at my school. I also serve on the School Improvement Leadership Team (SILT) and act as our Math Department Head, where I support instructional planning, professional development, and data-driven decision-making. When I’m not teaching or creating resources, I’m cheering on my kids at ballgames, spending time on our family’s pecan farm, or enjoying a good cup of coffee while planning the next project. I started this TPT store as a way to share the real-world math resources that have worked in my classroom—resources that are engaging, low-prep, and rooted in the realities of teaching middle school. I hope what you find here helps you feel more confident, supported, and maybe even a little more excited to teach math each day!
