This is a fun and engaging activity to have students complete using their knowledge about fractions, decimals, and percentages. It is student-centered and they are actively using their understanding of converting between those formats. It takes about 2 class periods and is a breeze to grade. Students will color in 100 squares to create artwork that they are proud of. Afterwards, they use their understanding of fractions, percentages, and decimals to calculate how much of each color was utilized

Students will create an image that follows requirements given about equivalent ratios. It is a student-centered, creative, and engaging activity.
