C.O.D.E. Words that introduce a clause that needs to be in the subjunctive mood. This is a list of the most common verbs/expressions that require the subjunctive to follow. I use the acronym C.O.D.E. to stand for (Command, Opinion, Doubt, Emotion) and categorize verbs/expressions within each section.
