This lab was made to be a interdisciplinary experiment for my chemistry class, with the help of the ceramics class. It could easily be adapted to be taught within a ceramics class exclusively - background information and lab instructions are included.

A research project for use with the (free) TinkerCAD software, where students research and then replicate an ancient building. I've had some really high quality reproductions over the years, and it tends to have students end feeling very passionate about whichever building they made. A lab I do with my physics class in collaboration with the band class. Scientists and musicians work together to do calculations and take measurements to show a. what makes instruments unique, and b. how their waveforms relate to the sound. Meant to be used after learning about open-open, closed-open, and closed-closed resonators. Could easily be edited to be done with a band or physics class by itself, given materials.
