I created this little gift jar for my students to give to his or her family. I was prompted by a parent who wanted me to provide summer homework. I would rather have my students do creative and engaging activities. So I thought, why don’t I make a set of 81 cards for activity ideas that each student or family can do. Teaching style
I love to make math engaging through real life applications. Every math topic can usually be taught through projects and problem solving. My goal is for my students to be able to think, collaborate, and communicate. While I don't teach to the test, I cover the Common Core Standards, which I fully support.
