I have taught second grade for two years and fourth grade for five years. I have also worked with students from second through fifth grades in the afterschool program. I have also taught third grade in summer school.

I am a 1:1 classroom teacher, and I love using technology in my classroom. I like for my students to be the leaders of their learning. My students sit in groups so they can employ 21st century skills in the classroom.

I was voted Teacher of the Year for my school. I was selected as Superstar Technology teacher of the month and given an award from my local Rotary club as one of three Elementary Teachers of the Year.

I graduated with a Bachelors in Elementary Education. I also have a Masters in Reading and Literacy K-6.
