Equip you and your students with evidence-based tools designed to alleviate stress, enhance achievement, and improve student behavior—drawing on 40 years of diverse experience in education.
I began as a social studies teacher. My professional development led to graduate studies in counseling and school psychology, enabling me to meet the needs of the students I worked with effectively. From 1988 to 2019, I served as a school psychologist for Hamilton Township Public Schools, where I had the opportunity to work alongside my colleagues in classrooms, developing interventions for school and life success. From there, I initiated and maintained an ongoing nonviolent crisis intervention program for administrators and staff throughout the district. I specialize in empowering students facing behavioral and learning challenges through direct individual and group work, consultation, and assessment.
From 1991, I have been a licensed psychologist in private practice, specializing in family therapy. My work in schools informs my counseling, and I have brought my knowledge of development and counseling expertise into the schools.
Today, I continue to train school administrators and staff through the New Jersey Principals and Supervisors Association in Monroe, NJ. I am also a training consultant and in-service provider for the Center for the Promotion of Social-Emotional Learning in Camp Hill, PA.
