Teaching style

Having worked in hospitals, acute rehabilitation facilities, provided home based services and worked in schools throughout her career. She has supervised two American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Clinical Fellows and mentored six State Licensed Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SPLA). Very aware of the state and federal guidelines associated with the rights of those with disabilities. Also enjoys collaborating with families and other professionals to ensure the best possible overall programming. She has owned and directed her own practice in Ohio and Arizona. She enjoys working with children and young adults.

In Melissa's free time she loves to spend time with her 15 year old daughter and nephews. Melissa grew up in the northeast with her parents, younger brother and sister and remains is very close to all of them. An avid sports fan who enjoys watching all New England teams play. She loves to travel, primarily to visit friends and family.
