Hello!! I am Jessica. I have been a Special Education Self-Contained Teacher for the past 4 years. I have been in Special Education for the last 10 years. I currently teach students with a range of disabilities and needs. I create resources that I have found to be instrumental in teaching my students. Then I post them here. While they may not be frilly and lavish, they work and have been tremendously helpful in my classroom. Morning Work Binder
This product aligns with the morning meeting slides. Students can complete tactile tasks while following along with the smart board. Students will increase fine motor, counting, and number recognition. They will learn days of the week by identifying yesterday, today, and tomorrow. As I implement new slides, I will also add to this document the needed tactile materials for students to increase their independence.

Morning Meeting Slides
These slides are actual slides I utilize in my K-2 classroom. Students enjoy the movement opportunities and the alignment of their morning notebooks. These slides cover various literacy, phonics, and Math skills that we address in the classroom. Some are in alignment with the student's IEP goals. These are set up clutter-free to focus directly on the specific skill.

Teaching style
My teaching style is fun, innovative and hands-on. To me, the most important aspects of a classroom are atmosphere, organization, encouragement, innovativeness, and interactions.
As I create lessons, I always keep the children in my class in mind, their likes, dislikes, and skills.

Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education.
Undergrad Degree in Birth-Kindergarten.
Graduate Degree in Special Education
Additional biographical information
Married to my High school sweetheart for 18years, we have two children together, a boy and a girl. We also have a precious, sweet baby who was too perfect for Earth. We enjoy exploring small towns, hiking, and making family memories.
