About the store
I am a teacher of nearly 20 years. I use these lessons with my own students and I see the difference everyday compared to the traditional PowerPoints of the past. I have 2 of my own children and I teach them complex topics through these lessons as well. These lessons are clear, visual, classroom ready lessons for high school, and even middle school teachers. My lessons and readings are designed to help students understand complex topics through infographic style slides, guided discussion questions, readings, student activities and answer keys. About the store

Experience

I am a teacher of nearly 20 years. I use these lessons with my own students and I see the difference everyday compared to the traditional PowerPoints of the past. I have 2 of my own children and I teach them complex topics through these lessons as well. These lessons are clear, visual, classroom ready lessons for high school, and even middle school teachers. My lessons and readings are designed to help students understand complex topics through infographic style slides, guided discussion questions, readings, student activities and answer keys. My goal is to make lessons easier to teach, easier to follow and more engaging for students.

Teaching style

My teaching style is clear, visual, structured and discussion based. I like breaking big topics into smaller pieces so students can actually understand the “why” behind the topic, not just memorize facts. My lessons use visuals, guiding questions, short explanations and analysis questions to keep students thinking throughout the lesson.

Awards & shining teacher moments

One of my favorite teaching moments is when a student says, “Now I get it.” That is my idea behind these lessons. I try to create lessons and readings that make difficult topics feel more understandable, especially for students who may struggle with long textbook readings or traditional lecture heavy lessons.

My own education history

I have been a special education and general education teacher for 20 years. I enjoy helping students access challenging lessons. I continue to build lessons that are based on clear explanations, strong visuals, meaningful questions and materials that can be used right away.

Additional biographical information

I create my lessons to help busy teachers who want lessons that are polished, organized, and student friendly. Each one is designed to save planning time while still giving students meaningful content and opportunities to think critically while learning new information.
