Drama circles are an excellent introduction to performing theatre from a text. This drama circle depicts a soccer game where things get a little out of hand. Enjoy! Prepare: Print and cut out cards. Use card stock or laminate if desired for durability. How to play: Pass out cards evenly among students. Drama circles are an excellent introduction to performing theatre from a text. This drama circle tells the story of a surprise party. Similar to I Have/Who Has, students listen for their CUE and perform the words/action indicated by YOU on each card. This is excellent for practicing listening to others for cues and interpreting text without jumping right into a full script. Also you can do it with virtually no prep! Just print, cut, and go!
