This is a short (2-3 class) project combining data collection, statistics, and illustration. This project gives students an opportunity to practice basic statistics skills using real data. Students will measure and record the heights of several flower samples. They will also draw and describe the flowers (and as an optional art extension, create a final botanical illustration based on their sketch).
