Welcome to Explore Engage Educate! I am a current 6th grade teacher who is passionate about creating rigorous yet engaging activities that students will learn from while enjoying themselves. I have taught fifth and sixth grade in the U.S. and served as a school interventionist for grades 4-6. I have also taught English to secondary school students in the U.K.

Welcome to Explore Engage Educate! I am a current 6th grade teacher who is passionate about creating rigorous yet engaging activities that students will learn from while enjoying themselves. Teaching style
The three words I would use to describe my teaching style are: innovative, engaging, and reflective. Keeping learning engaging for my students is one of my biggest goals, so I am always looking for creative ways to do this. I also love to utilize technology and keep up with the latest educational trends so that I can incorporate new ideas into my classroom. Lastly, I understand the importance of reflecting upon my teaching, lessons, style, values, strengths/weaknesses, etc., so I encourage constant reflection amongst my students and myself. Upholding this reflective mindset helps to keep my teaching fresh and up-to-date!
