I put 5 numbers on the IWB and get them to write the numbers into the boxes on the cards. As I said - simple enough, but my kids were struggling with place value. Will be putting other versions up soon.

Maths and Art activity for consolidating understanding of arrays, multiplication and equal groups. Students create 4 arrays using coloured paper or drawing grids, complete the equation below to indicate their understanding. Once coloured and completed thay can be displayed enmasse - create a cityscape. Suitable for grades 2-6 with appropriate differentiation and complexity.
