About the store
Rebecca Mann is currently enjoying semi-retirement as a part time instructor at Hope College and the University of Connecticut. Previously she served as an Associate Professor in Gifted and Talented as well as Special Education at Purdue University. Her desire to earn her doctorate at the University of Connecticut stemmed from her 17 years as a classroom and gifted resource teacher in Colorado and New Hampshire. She has been honored for her work by Purdue University, the National Association for Gifted Children and the state of New Hampshire. Carolyn Freeman recently retired after spending 42 years in public education at both the classroom and district levels for School City of Mishawaka in Indiana. She also spent a number of years teaching undergraduates at Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame, IN, as well as graduate students at Indiana University South Bend. Carolyn spent over fifteen years in the curriculum area with a focus on high ability programs and assessment. She has presented and facilitated numerous workshops and convention sessions ranging in topics from educational technology to high ability education to assessment analysis, to name a few.
